Situated at nearly 1000ft above sea level just above Tansley village, Matlock and set in 50 acres of beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Established as a nursery some 250 years ago, James Smith (Scotland Nurseries) has supplied trees, shrubs, rhododendrons and heathers to customers all over the country, many of the Royal gardens are stocked with plants from our nursery.
